About Me.
Jade Y. Liu is a Chinese-Canadian writer and poet living on the unceded lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations (Vancouver, BC). A graduate of the University of British Columbia with a BA in English Literature (Hons.) and Creative Writing, she returned to UBC to join the Allard School of Law's class of 2025. She currently serves as a contributing editor for Arc Poetry Magazine, an editorial assistant for Prism International, and is working (slowly, but steadily!) on her first chapbook.
